Cooperation E/D/E - Sanistaal

Starting from early 2006, E/D/E is cooperating with the leading Danish Wholesaler Sanistaal. The agreement has been made amongst others, in order to prepare the requirements to cover the Danish market as well as the Baltic states with Format tools. E/D/E could acquire the important Sanistaal-Group, who disposes the necessary know-how, to serve approx. 25 percent of the toolmarket. Sanistaal, located in Aalborg, Northern Jutland disposes in Denmark of 42 locations in total.

Further 20 locations in Germany. Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are also to be added. Sanistaal was founded in 1972 and the company operates under the legal form A/S. The product range of Sanistaal includes the scopes sanitary, steel, as well as tools, technical products and machines. A further scope to be developped is electrical installation. Sanistaal serves the steel and metal working industry as well as the Construction industry.

Together with E/D/E, Sanistaal intends to implement Format Tools all over the Danish market at the end of 2006 / early 2007. At the end of this year, a corresponding Format catalogue will also be available, which is produced by E/D/E in Danish language. The edition of which will be 10.000 copies.

In common, we are convinced that we are on the right track to enter the Danish market with Format tools in order to get a high acceptance and with it a market penetration,” describes Hans-Jürgen Adorf, CEO of E/D/E the objectives.
Both companies management agree upon following a successful co-operation in the tool sector, to expand the collaboration systemtically to other product fields.
