A bright star in the fixtures branch
The contracts for foundation of the EBH AG were signed on the 15th November 2001. By this, the largest fixture cooperation in Europe was formed with a buying turnover of more than half a billion Euro only with door and window fittings. Shareholders are amongst the 48 former shareholders of Befa and Ibau with 51 % also E/D/E with 49 %. The new company is open for new members, as far as they are members of E/D/E.
Of the affiliated EBH companies 75 are in Germany and a further 20 outlets in other European countries. Also the 27 member companies of the E/D/E specialist group fixtures and fittings will be covered by EBH AG. They have the option to also become shareholder of EBH AG.
Common sales strategies, concentrating only on the sale of fixtures and security-products, will be jointly developed and will be put into operation nationwide despite the independence of each member company.
The founding of EBH AG will lead to restructuring inside E/D/E, too. The specialist teams of so-called builder´s fittings, furniture fittings and security-fitings will dedicate their competence to the new organisation. Of course, all EBH members will be able to participate from the wide range of services including warehouse and central payment.
