EURO STAHL-Handel (ESH) offered its partners a welcome communication platform with a get-together on the eve of the wire and Tube trade fairs in Düsseldorf. In the best weather and in a relaxed atmosphere in the media harbor of the Rhine metropolis, many discussions revolved around the consequences of corona, war and the energy crisis in the steel industry. After the first half of the year was characterized by delivery difficulties and enormous price increases, there are now signs of a decline in demand. The scope and consequences are – like so many other things – difficult to predict. “None of us has ever experienced a situation like this. This makes the need for communication and exchange all the greater. The partners have clearly reflected this to us,” explains ESH authorized signatory Jürgen Laukandt.
Around 120 dealers and supply partners of the Wuppertal network took the opportunity for a relaxed gallop in front of the trade fair duo for wire, cable and pipes in Düsseldorf. wire and Tube together attracted more than 1800 exhibitors from 50 countries. ESH continues its regular communication with its retail partners with the regional information days in October. [daf]
