Successful marketing dialog in Kassel

The first face-to-face meeting of the marketing dialog took place in Kassel at the beginning of November. The still young format offers marketing experts from the E/D/E membership a platform for exchanging ideas with each other. This time in Kassel, the participants discussed specific marketing and communication measures within the PVH – a presentation by E/D/E provided the basis.

The aim of the marketing dialog is to provide exciting impetus, generate ideas and also convey to the E/D/E team which support is currently needed in which form in retail. In Kassel, the focus was on specific marketing and communication measures. As an introduction, Thomas Neugebauer, E/D/E Team Leader marketing and advertising, presented case studies from practice. His presentation provided insights into figures, data and facts and thus formed the ideal basis for further discussion.

“When selecting the theme, we responded to the wishes of members from the first digital dialog,” explains Neugebauer. There, the team presented a version of the “funnel” specially tailored to B2B. The concept, also known as the marketing funnel, helps to use the multitude of channels and instruments available today in a controlled manner. “Our experience shows that in reality, the tool brings order, structure and ultimately goal orientation to the marketing mix. It was therefore a very good starting point for our first workshop,” continues the 56-year-old.

Silke Stein, Head of Marketing at Fidel Schub GmbH & Co. KG, has been taking part since day one: “The marketing dialog offers me a great opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from sector. The discourse on current topics and the many practical ideas allow me to look at my everyday challenges from a new perspective.”
