PRO.ELEMENT Days: News from the building components sector

Exchange finally present again

With the PRO.ELEMENT days, E/D/E offers the employees of its members and suppliers an opportunity to find out about the latest news from the building components sector every two years. In mid-June, the participants met again in person at E/D/E for the first time.

As usual, this year’s meeting took place after the BAU trade fair. “The aim of this series of events is to comprehensively pass on the industry innovations from the building components and fittings sectors presented during the trade fair in Munich to distributors in order to provide members and suppliers with the best possible support in their daily operations,” says Christian Zenk, Team Leader in the E/D/E specialist area of building components.

The topic of sustainability was particularly present this year. Christian Ewers, Sales Manager Hörmann KG, presented the new sustainable and climate-neutral products as well as current designs and optimizations in the garage door and entrance door sector. Participants were also able to find out about the latest updates to the calculation and ordering programs from a number of manufacturers.

Karin Pischke and Peter Hammerschmidt from Teckentrup GmbH und Co. KG addressed the question of how the challenges on the market and in the contract business can be mastered together. They presented their company’s 360-degree service as a solution.

During the event, individual timetables ensured that participants received the information relevant to them. The individual events and lectures could already be selected in advance. “This type of event organization enables visitors to make their participation in the PRO.ELEMENT days as efficient as possible,” explains Christian Zenk. During the two days of the event, participants had a total of 30 seminar dates with 20 speakers to choose from.

“To finally be able to exchange ideas in person again, to receive highly relevant industry information and to do it all in a well-organized setting here at E/D/E – this continues to be very well received by the employees of our members and also by our suppliers. It’s great to see,” says Christian Zenk, expressing his satisfaction with the successful event.
