Müller appointed Chairman of the Management of ETRIS BANK

With effect from 01.10.2022, the Supervisory Board of ETRIS BANK appointed Uwe Müller (59), the previous Spokesman of the Management and responsible for the strategic and operational development of the bank, as Chairman of the Management of ETRIS BANK. The Supervisory Board is thereby boosting the strategic orientation of the credit institution as well as the expansion course embarked upon by Müller.

Wuppertal – Together with the other members of the Management, Martin Beckmüller (61) and Christoph Feil (56), Uwe Müller, as Chairman of the Management, will further expand the defined strategic business areas of ETRIS BANK, central payment for buying associations and factoring, and therefore strengthen the future viability of the full-service bank belonging to the E/D/E Group.

Contrary to the general trend in the banking industry, ETRIS BANK is continuing its expansion course and will even exceed its ambitious growth targets for this year in this disruptive economic environment. Looking ahead to the coming year, the Chairman of the Management is also confident: “It is already apparent that ETRIS BANK will continue on its growth course in 2023,” says Müller.

In May 2022, the Europe-wide certified rating agency GBB-Rating once again awarded ETRIS BANK an “A+ stable” rating, which underlines the solidity of the bank and its business model.

Combined with its current growth story, this makes ETRIS BANK, which celebrated its tenth anniversary in December 2021, not only a reliable partner for SMEs, but also an attractive employer. “Currently standing at 105 employees, ETRIS BANK has the necessary competent and committed personnel to shape growth,” Müller explains.

“At the same time, we are of course always happy to welcome qualified new recruits.”
