Meet & Connect – technical trade and personal protective equipment

What began in 2022 as a joint sales forum for the technical trade and personal protective equipment has evolved impressively in 2025: With even more exhibitors, exciting specialist impulses and a strong sense of community, Meet & Connect has established itself as a permanent fixture in the sector event calendar.

Experience industry knowledge live – exchange at eye level

With over 70 exhibitors on site, the event offered an impressive variety: the latest products, innovative developments and current trends were presented directly at the stands. Around 350 participants, including around 200 members from over 50 companies, took the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information, maintain contacts and discover new ideas.

Strong expertise – training with depth

The highlights were once again the practical training courses held by experienced specialists. The mix of topics ranged from current industry trends to innovative product developments. Tesa, for example, provided exclusive insights into its sustainable adhesive solutions, while the personal protective equipment team presented the new FORTIS product series for the first time.

Insights that stay – through video interviews

The short interviews with exhibitors, retailers and experts conducted during the event were very well received. The authentic statements highlighted current challenges and helped to keep the exchange of experiences alive beyond the event.

Evenings with atmosphere – a different kind of networking

In addition to the professional program, the personal exchange was not neglected. The set-up evening at Strobels am Stadion offered the suppliers an atmospheric start to the event – right in the heart of BVB. On the first evening of the event, all participants went up high: in the BrauTurm in the Dortmunder U, they toasted with an impressive view over the rooftops of the city.
