Jürgen Laukandt is the new Managing Director of ESH EURO STAHL-Handel GmbH & Co KG (ESH) with effect from May 1, 2023.
He will share the role of Managing Director of ESH with Peter Jüngst.
Andreas von Helden has already been in charge of the “Sheet Metal/Tubes” division since the beginning of this year and has also been appointed Authorized Representative of ESH with effect from 1 January 2023.
Wuppertal – Jürgen Laukandt has been working in the steel division of Einkaufsbüro Deutscher Eisenhändler for many years.
In 2016, he accompanied the spin-off of the E/D/E business division Union Stahl-Handel into the newly founded company ESH EURO STAHL-Handel GmbH & Co KG. Jürgen Laukandt has extensive experience in the steel industry and has been able to successfully expand ESH ‘s expertise in recent years.
Two divisions were implemented under the newly established Managing Director: “Plates/Tubes” under the leadership of Andreas von Helden and “Long Products, Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Administration”, which Jürgen Laukandt manages in personal union.
Andreas von Helden, previously Team Leader STAHL-Handel, was appointed Head of the “Plates/Tubes” division and Authorised Representative as early as 1 January 2023.
He is also largely responsible for driving forward the topics of sustainability and digitalization.
Andreas von Helden has also been associated with E/D/E for a long time: After successfully completing his dual studies at E/D/E from 2006 to 2010, he worked in sales in the Union Stahl-Handel business division until April 2014.
In June 2017, he took on the role of Team Leader at ESH EURO STAHL-Handel GmbH & Co. KG, where he has achieved significant success in recent years, particularly in the areas of digitalization and automation.
