After the successful premiere two years ago, the 23. and 24. November, the Professional Fastening Technology Days for members of the Fastening and Assembly Technology specialist group will take place for the second time in Wuppertal at E/D/E. The “power training” for office and field sales staff is organized by the Fastening Technology division. In informative presentations, industry specialists, appraisers and experts pass on their knowledge to participants in over 20 seminars. In addition to the Construction Products Regulation, requirements in accordance with DIN EN 1090, surface and corrosion protection, screw locking devices and C-parts management systems, the topics on offer also include e-procurement and e-business systems. Presentations and training sessions on various fastening topics will also round off the event. The first Professional Fastening Technology Days 2014 were already very well received by the participants. “The practical presentations by speakers, including the information on existing standards, were particularly informative,” says Andreas Bayer from Eduard Lutz Schrauben-Werkzeuge GmbH. Uwe Kasselmann, at Aug. Heseding GmbH, responsible for purchasing and sales of fastening technology, was delighted: “It was a good mix of informative topics and interesting presentations.
