Central payment

As one of the largest centralized settlement companies in Europe, E/D/E is the connecting element between the contract suppliers and the member companies. The aim of central payment is to ensure greater security combined with a timely flow of documents and data for both sides. Our electronic invoice processing offers simple digital processing. The process reduction leads to a cost effect in accounts receivable accounting.
E/D/E offers its contract suppliers additional security with del credere liability, i.e. the guarantee to be responsible for all deliveries of goods and services. We offer protection against insolvency challenges for regulated receivables at no additional cost and also 100% default protection. We have no incalculable cost increases in the event of a change in the risk situation.

The E/D/E supplier data portal optimally covers the requirements of the production connection trade and its product ranges. Extensive product information is therefore available even faster, more up-to-date and in better quality. Suppliers benefit from the ability to add new products, update data and improve their data quality in a structured manner at any time. In this way, they create the basis for feeding the ever-increasing number of digital sales channels with high-quality data. For suppliers, E/D/E offers a central service for the professional preparation and marketing of your product data. We collect, homogenize, structure and enrich your complete article data according to a uniform classification standard – checked and refined by experienced product experts.

For suppliers in the building services industry, the E/D/E Data Center Building Services is the central building block for professional, uniform and market-oriented data provision. It handles the complete preparation of your product data – from collection and enrichment to structuring according to an industry-specific classification standard.

The open system platform “Clearing Center” connects the various ERP systems of distributors and suppliers. This solution not only speeds up your transactions, but also significantly facilitates the exchange of data and information with your business partners.

Industry meeting
MEET & CONNECT

Industry meeting

The industry get-together is an annual communication platform of the German Ironmongers’ Purchasing Office (E/D/E) for members and contract suppliers. The aim is to bundle intensive discussions in a pleasant atmosphere over two event days. The trade fair concept is reversed: trading companies receive E/D/E contract suppliers in meeting booths to present their services undisturbed. The discussions take place every 30 minutes and serve to exchange innovations, make new contacts and maintain existing relationships.

Our logistics solutions offer efficient and reliable delivery processing, supported by modern technologies and a high storage capacity. Every day, we ship thousands of parcels to numerous European countries, ensuring flexible delivery options and fast delivery times. We focus on sustainability and optimized processes to minimize both costs and environmental impact.

Central warehouse

At the center is our central warehouse with access to over 500,000 items. More than 115,000 items are available immediately from over 73,000 square meters of warehouse space with 98 percent availability. Continuous expansion will further increase the current capacity of over 170,000 storage spaces here.
The E/D/E packaging machine improves the performance of our logistics, measures the necessary parcel sizes and thus saves packaging material, increases delivery reliability and prevents transport damage. Today, up to 5,000 parcels are packed in one day without any problems using the packaging machine. By using sustainable materials, using materials efficiently and reducing waste, we are environmentally friendly. Sustainability with an optimized carbon footprint is a high priority.

Storage services

We send up to 10,000 parcels a day from our central warehouse to 31 European countries, which equates to around 1.7 million parcels a year. We usually deliver to our members’ warehouses within 24 hours or directly to the end customer (48 hours within Europe). Single-item picking and last-minute ordering are examples of many other strong logistics services.

In addition, E/D/E is well positioned with a building services warehouse with access to 120,000 items. The floor area of our hazardous goods warehouse is 3,200 m² and the pallet rack for hazardous substances has a storage capacity of over 6,000 pallet spaces. The technical highlight of the tried-and-tested eLC is the high-performance automated small parts warehouse (AKL), which offers storage capacity for up to 71,500 containers across twelve aisles.
