Trade and industry in dialog
What is moving the sector? What new products are there and what are the current market trends? That was the focus of this year’s very successful UNION Sales Forum.
On November 19 and 20, 2024, over 300 people from the UNION membership and 53 exhibitors (industry partners) came together to take part in this year’s UNION Sales Forum in the airship hangar in Mühlheim.
The Sales Forum takes place every two years and has become an integral part of UNION’s sales activities. The ideas of members and suppliers are addressed in a special way. “We have responded to members’ requests to make the Sales Forum even more comprehensive and attractive. We even had a waiting list of industry partners who would have liked to exhibit,” reports Markus Bielefeld, Team Leader UNION.
Classic get-together
To mark the new edition of the “UNION Tools” and “UNION Factory Equipment” catalogues, the Sales Forum offered industry partners the opportunity to present their new catalogues and products, while members were able to take away valuable sales arguments for their daily work – a real win-win situation for both sides. As always, the largest exhibitor was the E/D/E UNION team with the FORUM trademark stand itself. In addition, colleagues from the specialist product areas of personal protective equipment and technical products as well as the supply networks provided support with their product ranges and services.
In addition to the catalog ranges, the focus was also on personal exchange. Markus Bielefeld explains: “For our members and industry partners, the UNION Sales Forum is a central platform for joint dialog and information exchange. It is a classic “get together” within the UNION and between trade and industry. Business is still done between people and this is where we come together.”
Positive outcome
Sales perspectives were examined, market trends were discussed and ways to tackle future challenges were discussed. Markus Bielefeld summarizes: “The sales forum with this unique backdrop of the airship hangar was both impressive and successful. So much positive feedback from trade and industry shows that this format has obviously struck a chord with the times.”
