About usWe are the Purchasing Office of German Ironmongers (E/D/E), the European provider of services and systems for the industrial B2B/industrial B2B sector. The majority of our approximately 1,200 affiliated members are specialist wholesalers who mainly supply commercial customers from trade, industry and local authorities. They focus on tools and machines, industrial supplies, fittings and building components, products for personal protective equipment and technical trade, building services and steel.
As a high-performance system center, we guarantee our members comprehensive support to strengthen their competitive position with services from central purchasing, logistics, marketing, AKADEMIE, digital services, e-Commerce and banking services. We consistently focus on our members and invest in the performance and future viability of the industrial B2B members. In doing so, we ensure that our performance in daily operations is strengthened and our core business is further developed.
In line with market requirements, we are continuously expanding our services as an organizer and operator of networks for market-relevant supply systems for trade and industrial supply.
Convinced that every individual can benefit within a strong community, Ferdinand Trautwein founded the Purchasing Office of German Ironmongers in 1931. He was right with his idea. Until today. E/D/E has always been the link between manufacturers and specialist dealers in the production connection trade.
With over 1,100 employees, E/D/E is active in 28 European countries.
