Organizational structureE/D/E takes developments in the market on board at an early stage and has developed a reorganization based on the vision for the future, which strengthens the buying association’s performance and develops it further for the benefit of our partners. In addition to the proven technical specialization, a functional specialization with three areas of responsibility was established: Member management, supplier/product group management and purchasing management.
In particular, the establishment of member management will strengthen the performance of our members. Purchasing management and supplier/product group management create scope for significant progress in these functions and professional processing.

Market changesThe market in the production connection trade is changing and with it the demands on distributors and their structures. The challenges facing PVH companies today go far beyond the merchandise system. Whereas in the past, the focus was primarily on topics relating to product ranges, prices and sales policy, today the focus is also on digital services, data management, process cost optimization and networking with customers. Due to the wider range of topics, the complexity of PVH has increased significantly and requires more attention for additional service areas.

Shaping holistic services togetherCooperation with our members will be raised to a new level of performance through the professionalization of member management in an independent area of responsibility. By establishing a differentiated membership management system, we are pursuing the goal of offering services tailored to the different requirements and characteristics of our members. All of a distributor’s issues are clearly in one hand in the form of one-to-one responsibility.
The member manager bundles the different requirements of the members and ensures holistic solutions within the E/D/E service portfolio.
The corresponding processing within the new organizational structure is coordinated responsibly from the beginning to successful implementation.
Supplier/product group management
Further developing sector and product range expertise with strengthening strengthsSupplier/product group management focuses on designing tailor-made product ranges for our members based on systematic market analyses. By focusing on sector-specific product groups and suppliers, specialist and sector know-how remains firmly anchored in E/D/E and is constantly being developed further. In addition, the aim is to expand our relationship with E/D/E suppliers in order to further strengthen the services we provide to our members.
Purchasing management
Achieve significant purchasing advantagesThe further professionalization of purchasing management is intended to create significant advantages for our members in order to consolidate their competitiveness against groups and other large companies in the individual sectors in the future. This also includes analyzing the brand industry’s procurement markets and distribution channels as well as the economic development of partners on the supplier side. Here, E/D/E purchasing management uses the industry-specific characteristics to achieve optimal solutions and, above all, noticeable purchasing improvements for all market partners in close coordination between supplier/product group management and member management.
