Collective invoicing combined with online accounting processes guarantee correct and rapid payment processes between members and contracted suppliers. Our central regulation department works on a modern SAP basis and has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 since 1996.
The rapid, reliable and economic procurement and delivery of products within 24 hours are decisive characteristics for the specialised trade. The electronic Logistics Centre (eLC) is one of the significant performance benefits, with which the E/D/E supports the competitive ability of its members. 80,000 products are procured for its members and all orders from one day are delivered to customers on the relevant delivery note of the member with 24-hour service. The rate of readiness to deliver is more than 98 percent.
The E/D/E supports the market positions of its members through special marketing concepts and specialisation groups. From the service elements of the trade catalogue, central warehouse logistics, trademarks and data management, product specialists and marketing strategists develop concepts, with whose help the member companies can systematically build on their market positions.
Catalogues – in paper format or electronically – form the central sales promotion tools in the industrial B2B industry. In cooperation with its member companies, the E/D/E develops over 100 specialist trade catalogues with a total of 650,000 products. The trade catalogues are also available in all important foreign languages in order to be able to successfully handle the European markets.
For more than 20 years, the E/D/E has had extensive experience in the successful establishment of trademarks – in many European markets as well. Trademarks bind customers. For this reason, exclusive trademarks are a significant element of E/D/E sales concepts. The E/D/E trademarks offer members the opportunity to be able to offer high-quality range concepts with attractive price-performance ratios.
